The aim of our research is to provide society, politics and companies with the best possible support in making decisions on the way to a secure, clean and affordable energy supply, and also to take into account aspects of social acceptance. In particular, we focus on questions of infrastructure requirements and use, market and system integration of renewable energies as well as market design and regulation. Against this background, we focus on the following tasks in the area of model and method development:
