Girls’ Day at the RUB-EE Chair: How can the energy transition succeed? Shaping our climate-neutral future with energy system modelling

On April 23, as part of Girls’ Day, we will open our doors and show you how researchers are working on a climate-neutral energy future. In our workshop “How can the energy transition succeed? Shaping our climate-neutral future with energy system modelling”, you will be able to try out for yourself how the energy system of the future works. Between 09:00 and 12:30, you can join us on site to:

• trade electricity in a market game,
• develop an energy system model for a single-family home, and
• find out how a household can partially supply itself with rooftop solar panels and a battery.
