VDI Award Nazim Dogan
On February 27, 2026, the general meeting of the Bochum district association of the VDI took place.
As in previous years, outstanding theses from the three Bochum universities were honored.
Nazim Dogan from our department was honored for his master's thesis entitled “Holistic evaluation of supply paths for hydrogen-based energy sources: Life cycle assessment of domestic production and import options to Germany,” which he wrote under the supervision of Viktor Schüßler.

The topic was researched independently and enthusiastically by Mr. Dogan and contributes to our research topics.
The award winners presented their work in short technical presentations, which were received with interest and discussed by the visitors.
After the certificates were awarded, the evening was rounded off with the traditional kale dinner.
